Today’s installment of “Which celebrity’s house is this?” involves the 2,334-square-foot house at 1409 Schuyler Road in the Beverly Hills, Calif. postal region (also known as the BH PO), which came on the market earlier this month for $2,149,000. 
Records show the two-bedroom home’s current owner to be something called the Lola Trust. The reason that we believe that the owner is a celebrity is because the money manager’s name who appears on the deed, Richard Shephard, long has represented many other celebrities in their real estate buying and selling, including having his name on the deeds of homes owned by actors Courteney Cox, Vince Vaughn, Kirsten Dunst, Maura Tierney, Helen Slater and Josh Cooke (who lives in a house on Woodrow Wilson Drive in the Hollywood Hills that he purchased in November 2006 for $1,280,000, according to public records). Built in 1956, the house has two baths, a 12-foot ceiling in the open living room/dining area, a wall of bookshelves, a fireplace, French doors that open to the outdoor living room and garden, a kitchen with a banquette, a master suite with a fireplace and bath, an office area, a second bedroom suite that opens to the front gardens, and a two-car garage, according to public records and listing information. The house sits on a very small and gated, 0.16-acre (6,821-square-foot) lot, according to public records. The house came on the market on July 15. Public records show that the Lola Trust (and ergo, the ostensible celebrity behind it) purchased this house in late 2001 for $1,100,000.
