Actor Matthew Perry has added yet another property to his real-estate stable, purchasing a three-bedroom contemporary-style house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills that had been on the market for $4,500,000. Credit our friends over at the Real Estalker today for another of their great scoops with the Perry item. Your Mama reported that the house, which is at 2415 Carman Crest Drive, sold for $4,475,000. Public records don’t yet confirm that, but we of course have no reason to doubt Your Mama’s fine sources. What public records currently do show is that Perry’s Alvy Singer Trust (Alvy Singer was the character played by Woody Allen in the movie “Annie Hall”) purchased the house on Carman Crest Drive on February 14, with the deal being recorded on March 13. The Carman Crest house represents the fifth property that Perry has owned since becoming a big-name actor, and it’s the third one he currently owns. We’ll get to a rundown of those properties in a moment. But first, some details on Perry’s latest acquisition. Built in 1955, the gated house on Carman Crest has three and a half baths and sits on a 0.34-acre lot, according to public records. Although public records show the house as measuring 2,893 square feet, Your Mama’s instincts were correct about the house having been expanded. Indeed, listing information gives an approximate current size of the house as being 4,100 square feet. Other features in the house include a full-floor master suite, white terrazzo floors, disappearing walls of glass, a chef’s kitchen, a pool/spa, and state-of-the-art audio, visual and security systems, according to listing information. Check out a still-active website for the house with the house’s address in it here. Also, coincidentally, the good people at Curbed LA profiled the house on February 28 in their “That’s Rather Lovely” feature, although they didn’t know at the time that 1) the house had already sold by that point; and 2) a celebrity (Perry!) was the buyer. As for Perry’s other current properties in the L.A. area, the actor also currently: --Owns a 3,677-square-foot house at 3556 Sweetwater Mesa Road in Malibu that the actor quietly purchased in 2005 for $6,550,000 --Owns a 1,672-square-foot, 22nd-floor unit in the Sierra Towers building at 9255 Doheny Road in West Hollywood that he purchased in early 2005 for $3,200,000 Perry’s first-ever L.A.-area house was a 1,902-square-foot house at 7204 Chelan Way in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills that he purchased in May 1995 for $590,000, according to public records. He then quietly sold the Chelan Way house in early 2001 for $820,000, according to public records. Perry’s second-ever L.A.-area house was a 6,910-square-foot house at 630 Clinton Place in the Beverly Hills postal area, which he purchased in 1999 for around $3.2 million and sold in late 2005 for $6,100,000, according to public records.
