Turntablist and producer DJ Lethal has placed his two-bedroom, contemporary-style house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills on the market for $1,350,000 – the same price that he paid for it in August 2005.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on DJ Lethal’s listing of his 2,058-square-foot house at 3718 Lankershim Boulevard in the Hills, which came on the market on July 13. Records show that Lethal, whose real name is Leor Dimant (although in public records, his first name often is spelled Lear), purchased the home from actor Ivan Sergei’s Lankershim Blvd Trust back in 2005 for $1,350,000.
Now, DJ Lethal, 35, has the house on the market, and clearly harbors no illusions about making any money from its sale in this tough market. Built in 1926, DJ Lethal’s house has two baths, hardwood floors throughout, designer touches, a modern kitchen, a media room, and a master suite with a designer spa-like bathroom and a room-sized walk-in closet, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.28-acre property include a saltwater pool with swim jets and an infinity spa, a dog-washing station, and a fenced back yard, according to public records and listing information. We previously had mentioned this house in a roundabout way back on May 2, when we wrote about the sale of a different house in the Hollywood Hills, in which the seller turned out to be Sergei. And the Los Angeles Times’ Ruth Ryon wrote about DJ Lethal’s purchase of this house back in August 2005 (before we were blogging).
