True to his word, which we first reported back on May 2, actor Tobey Maguire has sold his three-bedroom house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills for a reported $11.5 million, according to public records and the Los Angeles Times.

The Los Angeles Times’ Ruth Ryon on Sunday led with her report on Maguire’s sale, which records show actually occurred back on Feb. 27 but wasn’t recorded until May 25. Maguire sold the house at 9000 Thrasher Avenue, which he purchased in March 2002 through his Thrasher Trust for $3.5 million. The buyer is identified in public records only as St. Louis-based Thrasher Properties LLC, a company whose owner we were unable to identify.

As a result, we don’t know if the buyer is a celebrity, but it wouldn’t be surprising, given how many celebs live in that area, including Keanu Reaves (who lives three doors down) and next-door neighbor Megan Mullally (and Courteney Cox is a past resident).

Built in 1962, the 4,704-square-foot, Mediterranean-style house was rebuilt in 1990 and then redone again by Waldo Fernandez after Maguire purchased it in 2002, according to public records and the Times. Features in the house include a gym, city views, a spa, infinity pool, courtyard entry, chef’s kitchen and maid’s quarters, the Times reported.

The paper reported that Maguire and his fiancée have not yet decided where to live next. He also was reported back in 2005 to have purchased a $1.5 million, two-bedroom apartment in Panorama Towers in Las Vegas, although we have not yet found evidence of that in Clark County public records in Nevada.
