Supermodel Shalom Harlow has sold her 1,450-square-foot, full-floor condominium unit in Manhattan's Nolita neighborhood for $1,900,000.


In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale of the one-bedroom unit in the building at 259 Bowery by the 35-year-old Harlow. Records show that Harlow's trust went to contract to sell the unit -- which had been on the market for $1,975,000 -- on June 13, with the deal closing on September 12. The deed was recorded with the city on October 16.


Features in Harlow's unit include one bath, oversized soundproof windows, north, east and west exposures, and a large open chef's kitchen from Boffi with a dining counter that seats six and top-of-the-line Gaggenau appliances, according to listing information. Other features include a master suite with a private balcony, a windowed office/dressing room, a master bath with a rain shower and a freestanding oval soaking tub, Lutron lighting throughout, a Miele washer/dryer, a poured concrete gas fireplace, and recessed speakers in every room, according to listing information.

Records show that Harlow purchased the unit in 2000 for an undisclosed price.

The unit is in the Ben Building, a rather scruffy-looking, six-story building that was constructed in 1900 and converted to condos in 2000. It also had three additional, more modern-looking floors added to the top of it (see the before and after photos). The building currently has five units in it and a key-locked elevator and video intercom.

This isn't the only property in New York state that Harlow has sold in the last 13 months. Records show that on November 26, 2007 (deed recorded on December 20, 2007), Harlow sold 8.44 (or 8.45) vacant acres at 274 Zena Road in Woodstock, N.Y. for $220,000, according to public records. Harlow had purchased the spread with a fellow named Aaron Ward back on August 27, 2004 (deed recorded on September 20, 2004) for $175,000, according to public records.
