Singer Avril Lavigne and her husband, Deryck Whibley, have listed their her 6,864-square-foot house in the Mulholland Estates neighborhood in Beverly Hills, Calif. for $6.9 million.

 

Lavigne, 22, purchased the five-bedroom house at 3331 Clerendon Road in 2004 through her 4173546 Canada company for $4,550,000, according to public records. Last month, she transferred the ownership of the house to the Clerendon Trust, which appears to be still be controlled by her.

Built in 1990 and surrounded by other celebrity houses, Lavigne's Italian villa-style house has six baths, a two-story entryway, high vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, French doors, custom fountains, Venetian plastered walls, and a kitchen with a center island, granite counters and a butler's pantry, according to listing information. Outside are a tennis court and a pool, all on close to an acre, according to public records and listing information.

The Mulholland Estates house is the only house that Lavigne is believed to own, and it's unclear yet where the singer is relocating. About a year ago, she sold her 2,400-square-foot house in the Cabbagetown neighborhood of Toronto for 590,000 Canadian dollars after it had been on the market for more than two months. She originally had listed it for 618,000 Canadian dollars and later reduced its asking price to 599,000 Canadian dollars.
