Limp Bizkit lead singer Fred Durst has sold a house that he owns in Los Angeles’ Hollywood area for $1,405,000, according to public records.

Since 1999, the controversial, 36-year-old singer has bought and sold no fewer than eight houses in the L.A. area. It is unclear where his current residence is, or if he currently owns at all in the Los Angeles area.

The most recent house that Durst sold, at 2100 Outpost Road in Hollywood, is a 1,807-square-foot house that was built in 1933, according to public records. The Los Angeles Times just reported that the Spanish-style house was one of the first houses in Outpost Estates and was built by Charles E. Toberman, who also built the Egyptian Theatre and other Hollywood landmarks. Durst sold that house to producer Erica Westheimer, according to public records. Durst’s former house also is just across the street from actor Jason Priestley’s 3,550-square-foot house at 2073 Outpost Drive, which he bought in 2002 for $995,000, according to public record

Durst had just bought the house at 2100 Outpost in April 2006 through his Midnight Fairy Trust for an undisclosed price, according to public records.

Durst’s other houses in Los Angeles have included:

A 3,458-square-foot house at 2325 Kimridge Road in the Beverly Hills post office, which he bought in 1999 for $1,360,000 and sold in February 2001 for $1,365,000;

A 3,540-square-foot house at 9329 Nightingale Drive in the Hollywood Hills that Durst purchased in early 2001 through his Mullethead Trust for $2,315,000 and sold in mid-2001 for $2,300,000;

A 6,624-square-foot house at 461 Bellagio Terrace in Bel-Air that he bought in summer 2001 through his Dally Boy Trust for $3,475,000, and then sold in 2002 for $3,700,000;

A 3,063-square-foot house at 8713 Sunset Plaza Terrace off the Sunset Strip that he bought in early 2002 through his Midnight Fairy Trust for $1,295,000 and sold in 2003 for an undisclosed price;

A 2,749-square-foot house at 2165 Ponet Drive in the Los Feliz neighborhood that he bought in late 2003 through his Three Weeks Later Trust for $1,837,500 and sold in spring 2004 for $1,950,000;

And a 2,738-square-foot house at 1753 N. Gardner Street in Hollywood that Durst bought in June 2005 through his Midnight Fairy Trust for an undisclosed price and quietly sold in spring 2006 to actor Adam Brody’s Penny Trust for $2,225,000.
