Rocker Michael "Flea" Balzary has placed a beach house that he owns in Malibu, Calif. on the market for $13,676,000.
Our friends over to the Real Estalker beat us to the punch this morning in reporting on Flea's listing of the house, which we spotted online late last night. Located on the Pacific Coast Highway, Flea's 2,731-square-foot house hit the market last week, back on May 28.

We actually first wrote about this house back in early 2007, shortly after the Red Hot Chili Pepper paid $9,980,000 for it.
Built in 1980, Flea's four-bedroom beach house has four baths, soaring ceilings, an open floor plan, walls of glass, gallery walls and tree-trunk floors positioned as an indoor-outdoor setting, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the 2.01-acre property, which sits on the Encinal Bluffs, include a staircase to the beach, two separate guest homes, a long driveway, private beach access, two garages, and a private spa terrace, according to public records and listing information.
Another house that Flea owned, in the Sycamore Meadows area of Malibu, was destroyed last year by fires, as we had reported at that time.
Check out an online listing sheet for Flea's beach house. And go here for a special website devoted to the house itself -- and note the ridiculousness of the URL (Red Hot Chili Ocean??), which is probably surpassed only in its insipidness by the "Villa Chili" URL that an agent created several years ago to sell Flea's bandmate Anthony Kiedis' house at 1410 Davies Drive in the Beverly Hills Post Office.
