Rocker Brett Gurewitz has placed his four-bedroom, Spanish-style house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills area on the market for $2,795,000.
The Los Angeles Times' Ann Brenoff broke the story last week of the 46-year-old Bad Religion guitarist's listing of his house, which is on celebrity-heavy Kings Road (the street where Paris Hilton once owned a house, and also where The Calling's guitarist and songwriter Aaron Kamin currently owns a house) in the Hollywood Hills. In fact, Gurewitz's house is just five lots south of the 2,707-square-foot house that Hilton had owned until selling it in the fall of 2007 for $3,865,000. (We exclusively reported Hilton's exact selling price of the house, last March.)

Built in 1923, Gurewitz's house has four and a half baths, a double height living room with a fireplace, a master suite with downtown views and a windowed, Poliform dressing room (and yes, we also had to look up what a "Poliform dressing room" is), and a kitchen with Viking stoves and a Viking range, according to public records and listing information. The house has either 3,214 square feet, according to some public records, or 3,429 square feet, according to other public records. Outdoor features on the 0.57-acre (25,044-square-foot), gated and flag-shaped lot include a long driveway, an outdoor gym, a saltwater pool, a spa, a waterfall, a dining pavilion, and a meditation deck with views from the Hollywood sign to Catalina Island, according to public records and listing information.
LIsting information also notes that the property is on the market for the first time in years. Indeed, records show that Gurewitz purchased the property in 1996 for $790,000.
It's unclear to us where Gurewitz is off to -- assuming he can even unload this house. When we find out, we'll share that information here.
