Beach Boys co-founder Brian Wilson and his wife, Melinda, have sold their retreat in Lake Arrowhead, Calif. for $5,450,000, and they have sold a small house in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles for $950,000.

The Lake Arrowhead sale first was reported on Sunday by the Los Angeles Times' Ruth Ryon, who wrote that the lakefront Tudor-style house had sold for "close to its asking price of $6.25 million." Public records show that the 5,271-square-foot house at 28055 Peninsula Drive South in Lake Arrowhead, which is a scenic mountain resort community in the San Bernardino Mountains, sold on April 3 for $5,450,000--we're not sure if that amount is truly "close to" $6.25 million, however!--to a married couple who are not celebrities.

Built in 2000, the six-bedroom Lake Arrowhead house that the Wilsons just sold has four and a half baths, according to listing information. Other features include three fireplaces, terraced gardens, a boat dock and mountain and lake views, the Times reported. The Wilsons purchased the house in 2005 for $3,700,000, according to public records.

Back in March, we wrote about some of Wilson's real estate holdings, in light of the fact that he had listed his mansion above Beverly Hills, Calif. for $8,495,000 (that mansion remains on the market at that listing price).

However, we had missed one other property that he and his wife Melinda had owned until recently. And in a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that in March, the Wilsons also sold a 1,700-square-foot Mediterranean-style house in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles for $950,000, according to public records. They had purchased that 82-year-old house, which is just above Ventura Boulevard at 4539 Tobias Avenue in Sherman Oaks, in 2004 for $785,000, according to public records, and prior to its sale had listed it for $995,000. It's unclear why the couple had purchased the house, which clearly was not their primary residence. Check out a cached version of the listing sheet for the Sherman Oaks house here.

Now, with the sale of the Lake Arrowhead retreat and the Sherman Oaks house, that mansion above Beverly Hills now appears to be the Wilsons' only dwelling.

We'll keep you posted on where Wilson winds up moving, once he sells his house above Beverly Hills.
