Public records have cleared on the recently renovated, trilevel house that Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush purchased in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, and they reveal that Bush paid $4,700,000 for the house.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that Bush paid $4.7 million, and “nearly its asking price of $5 million,” which the Los Angeles Times had reported back in January, when word first broke about Bush’s purchase. Billed by one agent as the “hood ornament of the Hollywood Hills,” the four-bedroom house at 1501 Viewsite Terrace will be used as the USC star’s offseason residence. Features in the house, which was built in 1953 but left untouched until an interior designer purchased it in the summer of 2003, include glass entry doors opening to a soaring, 23-foot-high living room ceiling, a penthouse master bedroom suite, six baths, a home theater, a playroom with a pool table and three TVs, an Asian-themed guest suite, a spa, a yacht-inspired ironwood party deck with a pool, an elevator, a dining gazebo, a bar, a silver padded dining room, a floating glass library loft, and a platinum kitchen with Viking and SubZero appliances, according to listing information.

We previously had written about Bush’s purchase back on Jan. 21.
