Filippa Hamilton, the Ralph Lauren model, has paid $2,395,000, according to the New York Observer, for a 1,347-square-foot duplex condo on the 10th and 11th floors of the Urban Glass House, a newly built, glass building in New York City’s Soho neighborhood. Born Kristana Filippa Palmstierna Hamilton, the 22-year-old model is the official face of Ralph Lauren. Her new home (see listing sheet here for a floor plan of her unit) is a two-bedroom duplex with two and a half baths. Other features in the unit include a more than 350-square-foot “open plan living/entertaining space,” a kitchen with “high-tech” linoleum and herringbone French white oak floors, and heated Kota Blue limestone floors in the upstairs bathrooms, according to listing information and the Observer. Located at 330 Spring Street, the Urban Glass House is the final project designed by legendary architect Philip Johnson, who died in January 2005 at 98. The building was completed last year.
