Public records have cleared on actor Jamie Foxx's sale of his 5,428-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Tarzana area, and they reveal that the house sold for $1,850,000 -- a pretty significant discount to its listing price of $2,320,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the amount that Foxx garnered for the house at 5370 VanAlden Avenue in Tarzana. We have written several times about Foxx's former house, most recently on August 30 when we exclusively reported that the actor had sold the house for an undisclosed price.

Foxx purchased the house in 1997 for $930,000. The buyers, a married, non-celebrity couple, purchased the house from Foxx's Big House Trust on July 25, with the deal being recorded on July 31. Built in 1949 and situated on a 0.79-acre lot, the house has three and a quarter baths, soundproofed rooms, orchestral wiring, a game room, a sport court, a pool, a pool house, a great room and an outdoor living deck, according to public records and listing information. Other features include a master suite sanctuary with a private entrance, an extended living room and dining area with an aquarium, a media theater with a wine case and a powder room, and a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast area, bar and a butler's pantry, all with granite and marble counters and floors, plus Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, according to listing information. As we have remarked many times, Foxx now lives in the Rancho El Conejo area of Thousand Oaks, Calif., on a 40.22-acre estate that his trust purchased back in 2007. He paid a reported $10.5 million for that estate, which has a 17,000-square-foot mansion.
