Professional skateboarder Erik Ellington has paid $1,845,000 to purchase a four-bedroom, 2,712-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, according to public records.

Ellington, 29, turned pro at age 21 and has been successful both in skateboarding and in business. He previously had owned a two-bedroom, 1,012-square-foot house at 3048 Passmore Drive in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, which, as we exclusively reported in February, he sold in December 2006 to soap opera actor Paul Leyden for $865,000.

Now, in a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that Ellington has upgraded to a larger house on Tareco Drive, near the Hollywood Reservoir. Built in 1953, Ellington’s new house has three baths and a master suite with a sitting area and a master bath with a steam shower and a spa tub, according to public records and listing information. Other features on the 0.68-acre property include a three-car garage with attic storage and extra parking, and gardens with flower plants, fruit trees, a waterfall and a spa, according to listing information.

The house had been listed for $1,995,000.
