Actress Parker Posey has listed her co-op unit in Manhattan's East Village for $1,175,000, eight months after she paid $650,000 for a three-bedroom house in upstate in Ghent, N.Y. from actress Tatum O'Neal.

The New York Observer's celebrity real estate columnist Max Abelson today did a fine job of breaking the story of Posey's listing of the three-room East Village apartment, which is in the 1845 brownstone building at 119 E. 10th Street (near Third Avenue), where other owners include former Smashing Pumpkins lead guitarist James Iha and actress Chloe Sevigny.

Features in the co-op unit include a 15-foot skylight, exposed brick, a wall of windows, a claw-foot tub, a working carved-marble fireplace, and exclusive roof access, Abelson reported.

Posey, 38, has owned the East Village co-op unit since 2000, according to public records.

While it's not clear whether Posey will stay in Manhattan or fly the coop once she sells her co-op (we'd assume she'll remain somewhere downtown), it's worth noting that the East Village co-op is not the only residence that the actress owns. Left unreported by the Observer today is the fact that earlier this year, Posey paid $650,000 to buy a three-bedroom house on 5.3 acres in upstate Ghent, N.Y. from actress Tatum O'Neal, according to public records. Built in 1840, the two-story, 2,633-square-foot house has two fireplaces and a pool, according to public records.

As always, we'll keep you posted.
