Actor Omar Epps, who plays Dr. Eric Foreman on TV’s “House,” has paid exactly $2.2 million, according to public records, for a 5,435-square-foot house in Sherman Oaks, Calif., in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley. Epps, 33, bought the six-bedroom, “grand Mediterranean-style” house which was built in 2003, through a trust, according to public records. Features in the house, which had been listed for $2,190,000 and is in Sherman Oaks, include five and a half baths, a three-car garage with built-in cabinetry, a wrought iron staircase, 9-foot ceilings, 8-foot interior doors, Brazilian cherry floors, tumbled travertine finishes and an imported French limestone fireplace, according to listing information and the Los Angeles Times. The Times has a list of many other features as well, like an office, media room, remote-controlled pool, spa, wet bar in the family room, and a kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Public records show that Epps previously has owned at least one single-family house in the L.A. area. In 2000, he paid an undisclosed price for a house at 23000 Cass Avenue in Woodland Hills, Calif., and then sold that house in 2003 for $960,000, according to public records.
