Nicole Richie and her baby daddy, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, have purchased *another* property in Los Angeles, paying $1,912,000 to buy a four-bedroom, 5,380-square-foot house off the Sunset Strip from former NFL linebacker Mike Croel.

We're still digging out from an onslaught of items that others have written about -- but not us -- and we wanted to share a bit with our readers on Richie's latest home purchase. It appears to us that this story was broken by the Wall Street Journal on June 5 (link became active on the night of June 4). However, we would note that the Los Angeles Times' Lauren Beale technically "broke" the story of Croel's sale in late May, but Beale wrote the post entirely unaware of the identity of the buyer, focusing only on Croel.

Indeed, records show that Richie purchased the house, which had been listed for $1,999,999, in early May through a corporate entity.

Built in 1914, the house is described in listing information as being "Aspen Lodge meets Tropical Paradise." Features in the house include five and a half baths, soaring ceilings, a large skydome, and an eat-in kitchen, according to listing information. Outdoor features on the walled, 0.41-acre (17,860-square-foot) property include a guesthouse that can serve as a screening theater, a lagoon pool that has a Key West cantina, a motor court and garage parking, according to public records and listing information.

What else do Richie and Madden own? Where do we begin? Let's give a rundown of the other properties that they own or have owned in the past:

--Richie's 2,246-square-foot, 10th-floor condominium unit in the Empire West building in West Hollywood, Calif., which she sold in late 2008 for $2,250,000 after buying it in early 2005 through a trust for $1,180,000; we exclusively wrote about Richie's sale of this unit in February 2008;

--The 2,274-square-foot town home in Los Angeles' Century City area that Nicole's dad, Lionel Richie, purchased for $1,200,000 through his Foster Trust in the summer of 2007, reportedly as a surprise for the couple; we exclusively wrote about this deal's purchase price in September 2007;

--A 911-square-foot, 11th-floor condominium unit in Manhattan's Bowery area, which Madden purchased through an LLC in late 2007 for $999,999; we wrote about this purchase in March 2008;

--Madden's 3,281-square-foot house (or 4,807-square-foot, according to listing information at the time of his purchase, or 4,800-square-foot, according to some online chatter) house in Glendale, Calif., which he purchased in late 2004 through his real name, Joel Combs, for $1,800,000;

--Richie and Madden also may own some properties in Annapolis, Md. (near where Madden grew up) as well; the same LLC company that purchased the Bowery unit owns several properties in Annapolis as well, according to public records;
