Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and his ex-wife, "Baywatch" actress Donna D'Errico, have reduced the asking price for their six-bedroom, 5,269-square-foot house on 40 acres in Agoura Hills, Calif. from just under $3 million to just under $2.5 million.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that Sixx, 48, and D'Errico, 39, have become motivated sellers of the property, which they first listed last year amid their divorce and which they had refurbished since purchasing it in early 1998 for $985,000, according to public records.
Built in 1982, the property, at 31978 Hidden Highland Road in Agoura Hills, the Spanish-style villa has four and a half baths, mountain views, a pool area, and a gourmet chef's kitchen, according to listing information. Other features include a family room, a formal dining room, a bonus room, a master bedroom suite with a balcony, vaulted ceiling, two walk-in closets, a spa tub, a steam shower and a redwood sauna, according to Ruth Ryon's "Hot Property" column in the Los Angeles Times that appeared when Sixx and D'Errico first listed the house. Other features in the house and on the property include one bedroom designed as a sound studio, a pool, a spa, a meditation garden, a vegetable garden, a playground, and a kitchen with granite counters, slate floors, hand-hewn oak cabinets, a copper sink, top-of-the-line appliances and a built-in cappuccino machine, the Times reported.
