Actress Meg Ryan's 6,877-square-foot home in Los Angeles' Bel-Air area -- which long informally has been on the market as what is known as a "pocket listing" -- has been publicly listed for $19,500,000.

The Los Angeles Times' Ann Brenoff beat us to the punch today in breaking the story of Ryan's listing of the six-bedroom house, which she purchased in September 2000 for $8,500,000, according to public records. Ryan officially put the house on the market on Tuesday.

Built in 1931, Ryan's Spanish-style house has seven baths, a double-story, stenciled beamed living room, a formal dining room, a screening room with a separate entrance, a 1930s-era bar, and family and guest rooms with separate en suite baths, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.73-acre (31,799-square-foot) lot include a pool, a guesthouse and 180-degree views of the city, according to public records and listing information.
