We have another sale-price update for our readers--this time, it's the final sale price of actress Sophia Loren and her recently deceased film producer husband Carlo Ponti's 38.5-acre "La Concordia" ranch in the Hidden Valley area of Thousand Oaks, Calif.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that Loren's ranch sold for $5,412,500, according to public records. The buyer of the ranch, at 1151 Hidden Valley Road in Thousand Oaks, is not a celebrity.

On December 9, we wrote about Loren's listing, although we were merely elaborating on a Wall Street Journal column item that mentioned that the house had been sold for an undisclosed price.

Loren, 72, and Ponti, who died in January at age 94, had first listed the property in December 2005 for $8.9 million and later reduced its asking price to $6.9 million. They first purchased the ranch in 1981 from actress Eve Arden and had owned it through their Scelo Enterprises company. Features on the property include a four-bedroom Craftsman-style main house with exposed wooden beams, an enclosed courtyard with a fireplace and a glass-enclosed dining room. Other features include a guest house, pool house, converted stable used for staff quarters, an orchard and two swimming pools, the paper reported.

Loren currently lives in Europe.
