Public records have cleared on the sale by actress Jenilee Harrison of her 1,908-square-foot house in the foothills of Los Angeles’ Sherman Oaks neighborhood, which had been listed for $1,099,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale by Harrison, 48, of the house at 4047 Madelia Avenue in Sherman Oaks, which Harrison and husband Bruce Oppenheim had purchased in late 2002 for $725,000, according to public records. The sale closed on May 8, and was recorded on June 20, according to public records.
Back on July 2, we wrote about Harrison and Oppenheim reportedly having sold the house after the Los Angeles Times’ Ruth Ryon had broken the story on the sale the previous day. Ryon had reported that Harrison and Oppenheim, who now live full-time in their 2,566-square-foot house in nearby Agoura Hills, Calif., had sold the smaller Sherman Oaks house for $1.1 million
Now, public records show that Harrison and Oppenheim actually fetched $1,096,000 for the Sherman Oaks house, which was built in 1951 and which the couple renovated in 2003, according to listing information and the Times. The single-story traditional-style house has three baths, hardwood floors, designer tiles, a fireplace in the living room, a gourmet kitchen with a Wolf range, a fourth bedroom that could be used as a family room, and a security system, according to listing information. Other features on the private and gated property include a garage with storage, a grassy yard, an exterior spa and an enclosed rear patio, according to listing information.
