Professional wrestler Hulk Hogan has put his Bellair, Fla. house back on the market for $17.9 million.
Hogan, 53, paid $2 million in February 1992 to buy an existing Spanish-style house and its 1.5-acre property, which is near Tampa, Fla. He then tore that house down and began building the seven-bedroom, 17,145-square-foot house, at 130 Willadel Drive. The Country French-style mansion has eight full baths and three half baths, separate guest quarters, a pool with a spa and pool house, a floating dock, two boat lifts, and parking for seven cars, according to listing information and a report in today’s Wall Street Journal. Hogan first listed the house in June 2006 for a whopping $25 million (see the listing sheet and virtual tour from that listing here) then took it off the market in December. Now, Hogan has listed the house for a much lower amount.
This is in part because Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, in spring 2006 paid $12 million to buy a waterfront house at 2900 N. Bay Road in Miami Beach, Fla., according to public records. Hogan also owns a five-bedroom, 6,473-square-foot house on a 1.09-acre tract at 4932 Summit View Drive in Westlake Village, Calif., which he bought in August 1998 for $2.45 million, according to public records. That house in Westlake Village is on the same street as actress Heather Locklear’s 8,115-square-foot house on 3.88 acres at 4970 Summit View Drive, according to public records.
