The mansion that shock jock Howard Stern is building on Squabble Lane in Southampton, N.Y. will be massive in size--even by celebrity standards--measuring more than 16,000 square feet, the New York Post is reporting today.

The Post's Braden Keil reports that plans for Stern's three-level, custom-built oceanfront mansion show that it will contain eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a great room, a media room, an attached cabana, a bowling alley, a wine cellar with a tasting room, a 1,500-square-foot master bedroom with a private balcony, an office/study, and his-and-hers baths with separate dressing rooms. Outdoor features on the 4-acre property will include a seaside pool, a spa and a stone wall around the house.

Stern's spread should be finished later this year. Until that time, he's renting a six-bedroom house at 2080 Meadow Lane in Southampton, which was designed by architect Norman Jaffe and was custom-built by David Webb, according to public records and listing information. Stern also continues to also own a 54th-floor unit in the Millennium Tower building at 101 W. 67th Street in Manhattan, where he paid a reported $5.9 million in 1998 for a 4,000-square-foot condo.
