By utter coincidence, we're going to follow a 'Frasier' theme today, because a 4,148-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Studio City area once owned by actress Jane Leeves, who played Daphne Moon in the long-running NBC sitcom, has come on the market for $2,995,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the listing of the Leeves house, which she and her husband, Marshall Coben, owned from 2002 until 2006. The couple had purchased it in 2002 for $1,150,000, and sold it in 2006 for $2,900,000, according to public records. We weren't blogging yet at the time of the 2006 sale, but we followed the sale closely, and were a bit surprised that the sale eluded the celebrity-real estate press.

Built in 1966, the four-bedroom, Southern traditional-style house, at 10946 Alta View Drive in Studio City, has three and a half baths, a grand living room, a dining room, a gourmet kitchen and a family room, all of which open through French doors to the yard, lawn, pool and cabana, according to listing information. The house also has a master suite with a spa-like bathroom and fireplace, an attached guest house and a three-car garage, according to listing information.

The house sits on a flag-shaped, 0.71-acre lot.

Leeves currently lives in a house at 23501 Malibu Colony Road in Malibu, Calif. that she and her husband purchased in mid-2004 for $2,750,000, according to public records.
