Public records have cleared on the sale price for a 4,514-square-foot house in Beverly Hills, Calif. that pianist and composer Burt Bacharach once owned, and they reveal that the house, which had been listed for $3,495,000, sold on August 31 for $2,990,000.


In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the exact sale price of the house at 1465 Donhill Drive in Beverly Hills, which Bacharach had owned in the 1970s and which sold to a non-celebrity buyer on August 31. The deal was recorded on November 9, but the purchase price didn't become available until recently.

Built in 1974, the four-bedroom Donhill Drive house was owned by Bacharach in the 1970s. Features in the house, which was designed by Marshall Lewis, include four and a half baths, a large living room, vaulted ceilings, a family room, a den, a formal dining room, an updated cook's kitchen, hardwood floors, French doors leading to a patio deck, and a master suite with his and hers closets, according to listing information. Other features include city views, a wine cellar, a bonus room/library, and a deluxe screening room, according to listing information. Outside are a pool and a private, 2.09-acre yard, according to public records.
