Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, reportedly is buying a two-bedroom, 2-1/2 bath unit in a fully furnished, full-service condo-hotel building in downtown Manhattan, according to the New York Post.

The Post's fine celebrity real estate writer Braden Keil reports this morning that Fergie will buy the beige-colored unit in the Cipriani Club Residences building at 55 Wall Street, which is the building where she normally crashes anyhow when she's in New York. Listed for $2.95 million and designed in a classic style, the unit also has diva bona fides, being located just one floor underneath model Naomi Campbell's place.

The former wife of Britain's Prince Andrew already stays in a unit provided to her by the building's developers, which makes sense since she is dating one of the building's developers, restaurateur Giovanni Cipriani. Now, she will live either in this unit here, or one very much like it (our initial research could not determine if this is the unit that she'll be buying).

The purchase hasn't cleared public records yet, but when it does, we (and Keil, no doubt) will provide you with a sale price.
