Carmit Bachar, who is one of the members of the pop/R&B group the Pussycat Dolls, has paid $700,000 for a three-bedroom, single-family house in the Valley Village area of Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley.

Kudos to our friends over at the Real Estalker for breaking the story last month of the purchase of the house by Bachar, 33, who has been a member of the burlesque ensemble longer than any other member. On Sunday, the Los Angeles Times' Ruth Ryon wrote about the purchase as well, although she erroneously wrote that Bachar purchased the house for $695,000, when public records state that the sale was for exactly $700,000.

Built in 1952, Bachar's new 1,656-square-foot house has two baths and an open living room with a fireplace, crown moldings and hardwood floors, according to listing information. Other features include an oversized family room, a master bedroom with an updated bath that has a deep soaking tub and shower, a remodeled hall bath with a pedestal sink, a large customer shower and quality fixtures, and outdoor spaces with a wood deck patio, professional landscaping, a custom gunite pool and a wood tanning deck, according to listing information. The house sits on a 0.14-acre parcel, according to public records.

Bachar previously had co-owned a 1,807-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Encino area until she sold her share in the house in the summer of 2006 for an undisclosed amount.
