British singer Dido has sold her three-bedroom, 3,739-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills for an undisclosed price after it had been on the market for $4,600,000.  In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale of the house at 9133 Oriole Drive in the Hollywood Hills. Records show that Dido, who had owned the house in her real name, Florian Cloud Debounevialle Armstrong, sold the house on February 11, with the deal being recorded on March 11. The buyer was not a celebrity.

Back on February 2, we had written a post about Dido listing her house. Built in 1951, the walled and gated house that Dido sold is in the celeb-friendly "Bird Streets" area of the Hills. Records show that Dido purchased the house in September 2005 for $4,150,000. Features in the house, which is next door to Marvel comics' Stan Lee's longtime home, include three and a half baths, a Hollywood Regency-style living room with a fireplace and views of the pool and grounds, a media room that also has views, a large dining room with French doors, a remodeled kitchen, and a large master suite with sitting areas, a gym, large closets and a marble bathroom, according to listing information. The house also has two additional bedroom suites and sits on a 0.46-acre parcel that contains a large motor court, according to public records and listing information. We don't yet have a sale price for the house that Dido just sold. When it clears public records in the next few weeks, we'll of course provide it here. Check out a real-estate website for Dido's former house. The house is just a few doors west of a 4,551-square-foot house at 9045 Oriole Way that actor Leonardo DiCaprio has owned through his Moa Trust since paying about $3 million for it in 1999. Leo reportedly has been renting the house at 9045 Oriole Way to actor Tobey Maguire, as Maguire awaits the construction of his new home, which will be on a 0.93-acre lot at 193 S. Carmelina Avenue in Los Angeles' Brentwood area, which as we exclusively reported on March 22, Maguire purchased for $10,000,000. We still haven't figured out where Dido might have purchased other property in the U.S. If anyone has heard anything, do let us know.
