In a Big Time Listings scoop, we can report that supermodel and actress Devon Aoki has paid the $1,899,000 asking price for a house in the Beverly Hills, Calif. area
Aoki, who early in her career appeared in Duran Duran’s video for “Electric Barbarella,” has appeared in the movies “2 Fast 2 Furious,” “Sin City” and “Dead or Alive.” She is the daughter of former Olympic wrestler and Benihana Steakhouse magnate Rocky Aoki.
The ranch-style house that Devon Aoki, 24, bought is in the Benedict Canyon area of greater Beverly Hills. Situated on 1.6 acres, the two-bedroom, 1,751-square-foot house has mountain ridge and canyon views, what its real estate agent called a “Beverly Hills Hotel-style pool and outdoor entertainment area,” according to listing information and public records. The house was built in 1946, according to public records.
Aoki’s house is just down the street from tennis star Pete Sampras’ former house at 2620 Benedict Canyon Drive, which he sold in 2004 for $3 million, and just down the street in the other direction from property at 3000 Benedict Canyon Drive that once was owned by the singer Seal.
Aoki bought the house from Gregory Alosio, an award-winning music video and commercial director.
