In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that the five-bedroom mansion at 2151 Hollyridge Drive is for sale. Built in 1923--just three years before the legenday singer-songwriter was born--the mansion sits on a 28,349-square-foot promontory, according to public records. Features in the mansion include a master suite with a sitting room, terrace and his and her walk-in closets, according to listing information. Other features include high ceilings, wood floors, original details, a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, and a gourmet kitchen, according to listing information. Outside are a pool, spa, meditation gardens, a paddle tennis court, a guesthouse and a three-car garage, according to listing information.

Berry sold the house in 2000 after owning it for several decades, according to a 2004 Los Angeles Times article about the house. It was listed in 2004 for $2,795,000 after the individual who bought it from Berry remodeled it, the Times reported. The house then sold in 2005 for $2,475,000 to its current owner, according to public records.
