Actress Charlize Theron, who earlier this month was given a special honor by Esquire magazine, has paid at least $2,000,000 for a top-floor loft unit in the new Broadway Hollywood building in Los Angeles' Hollywood area.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Theron's 10th-floor purchase, which closed on September 6 and which was recorded on September 14. Theron bought the loft through her Gerda Maritz Trust, according to public records. The exact purchase price is not yet available.

Theron joins actor Danny Masterson, who purchased a loft unit in the building on July 31. We exclusively reported on Masterson's purchase on October 5.

Located right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Broadway Hollywood building is a former department store that has the address of 1645 N. Vine St. / 6310 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood. Units range in size from 931 square feet to more than 2,000 square feet, and ceilings are as high as 20-plus feet, according to the building's website.

As always, we'll provide Theron's precise purchase once it becomes available in the next few weeks.

Theron's other properties include:
