We're bringing up the rear in reporting on this listing. The Associated Press first reported the story of the listing of Knight's onetime mansion on Friday, June 22, and the Real Estalker reported yesterday about the listing of the 8,272-square-foot house at 3229 Rambla Pacifico Street in Malibu, which was built in 2000 (according to listing information) or 2001 (according to public records).

As listing information indicates, the sale is subject to bankruptcy court approval, and the house, which Knight purchased in 2002 for $3,750,000 through his MHK Investments LLC company, is being sold as is.

Features in the gated, former Knight mansion include ocean views, large rooms with high ceilings, and nine and a half baths, according to listing information. Other features include a media room, an office, a pantry, and a breakfast bar, according to listing information.

Listing information states that the house sits on a 6.79-acre knolltop lot while an adjoining 2.11-acre lot also is for sale, "for a total of 8.76 acres." That's obviously inaccurate math, however; public records show that the house sits on a 6.65-acre parcel, and 6.65 acres plus 2.11 acres obviously equal 8.76 acres.
