Through his J&M Investments and Developments LLC company, Damon purchased the 2,410-square-foot unit in the building, at 151 E. 58th Street, in early 2006 for $5,555,000, according to public records. Features in the six-room unit include views in every direction, a spacious master suite with two walk-in closets and a dressing area, a master bath with marble mosaic floors, double sinks, a bathtub and a shower, and a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, Italian Basaltina stone countertops and a large dining area with a banquette, according to listing information.

Damon’s listing agent told the Wall Street Journal, which broke the story today, that the ballplayer plans to buy a house with a pool in the suburbs after the baseball season.
