Former Miss USA, model and sitcom actress Ali Landry has sold her four-bedroom, 2,899-square-foot Mediterranean-style house in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood for $1,812,000 to a congressional candidate from New York.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale of Landry’s house at 3601 Holboro Drive in Los Feliz, which she had listed for $2,395,000 and later had reduced to $2,325,000. Records show that Landry closed on the sale on August 28. The sale was recorded on September 20, according to public records.

We wrote about the listing by Landry, 34, on May 11, shortly after our friends over at the Real Estalker broke the story of Landry’s listing.

Landry didn’t come close to getting the amount she was hoping for from the sale of the Los Feliz home. She purchased it in 2004 for $1,710,000, according to public records. Built in 1931, the remodeled house sits on 2.411 acres and has three and a half baths, vaulted ceilings in the living room, a gourmet kitchen, a pool, a barbecue area and a lawn with swaying palms, according to listing information.

Public records show that the buyer is Alexander “Sandy” Treadwell, an independently wealthy man who was New York’s Secretary of State from 1995 to 2001 and who now is running for an upstate New York congressional seat in 2008. Treadwell, 61, presumably purchased the house for one of his grown children. Treadwell also paid $5,310,000 last year to purchase a house at 15981 Asilomar Boulevard in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades area, according to public records.

As for Landry, she also owns a three-bedroom, 2,439-square-foot house on a 1.15-acre parcel in Los Feliz that she purchased in 2004 for $1,099,000, according to public records. She continues to own that house, which is just down the road and is the equivalent of about two blocks from the 2,899-square-foot Los Feliz house that she just sold.
