Documentary filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, whose mother Nancy will become the Speaker of the House of Representatives in January, has paid $1,425,000 for a two-bedroom, two-bath, 1,400-square-foot condo in New York’s Greenwich Village, the New York Post is reporting. Read all about it here (NY Post).

Also in New York-area real estate news, an Italianate house in Sag Harbor, N.Y. has sold for $6.85 million and a Fifth Avenue penthouse has sold for $10 million. And, composers Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman—known for scoring various movies—are trying to sell their Flatiron District loft in New York City—complete with built-in plasma TVs—for $5.7 million. The pair bought the unit in 1997.
