Actress Teri Polo has sold her five-bedroom, 3,077-square-foot, Asian-inspired house in Manhattan Beach, Calif. for $1,950,000.

The sale of her house, which is at 794 27th Street in Manhattan Beach, has been all over the Internet, including being reported on the blog Manhattan Beach Confidential way back in September. However, while we were able to confirm the sale's formal closing and recording -- which didn't occur until January -- we weren't actually able to confirm the recorded sale price in public records until today. The buyers are not celebrities.

We had written back in February 2008 about Polo's listing, back when it was on the market for $2,599,000. Polo lost a ton of money on this house, given that she paid $2,500,000 for it in 2006, according to public records. (Manhattan Beach Confidential wrote that Polo had made an emotional overreaction in paying $2.5 million for the house.)

Built in 1949 and featured at one time in InStyle magazine, the house has four baths (three full baths and one half bath), bowed cherrywood archways, plank beams, a gourmet chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, fireplaces in both the living room and master bedroom, an indoor spa, and lots of natural light, according to listing information. Outside on the tiny, 0.10-acre (4,478-square-foot) lot is an outdoor fire pit, according to public records and listing information.

Check out an online tour of this house.

We haven't yet been able to ascertain where Polo is off to. When we figure it out, we'll of course share that here.
