Actress Lorraine Bracco has further cut the asking price of her house in Sneden's Landing, N.Y. to $2,900,000 after originally having listed it in 2004 for $4,400,000.

Kudos to the New York Post's fine celebrity real estate columnist this morning for breaking the story about Bracco's house back on February 15, which at that time was on the market for $3.2 million.

Bracco, 52, has owned the house at 40 Lawrence Lane in Snedens Landing, which is an exclusive, celebrity-filled, two-square-mile enclave in Palisades, N.Y., since she and then-husband Harvey Keitel purchased the home from fellow actress Ellen Burstyn for $1.2 million in 1990. The three-bedroom house has a private deck and terraced garden and sits on 2.1 acres, according to public records and news accounts. Other features in the two-story house include three fireplaces, terraces on both floors that are connected by a stone staircase. The house was built in 1960 and measures 2,120 square feet, according to public records.

The estate has the Hudson River on one side and a nature preserve surrounding a waterfall on the other.
