Actress Lisa Vidal has reduced the asking price of her five-bedroom, traditional-style house in Los Angeles' Studio City neighborhood to $1,995,000.
Vidal, 41, has appeared in a variety of movies and TV series over the years, including 'Third Watch (1999-2001) and 'ER' (2001-2004). Back in 1997, she paid $395,000 for the 3,219-square-foot house in Studio City that she's now trying to sell.
Vidal first listed the Studio City house in late 2005 for close to $2.4 million. At that time, she told the Los Angeles Times' Ruth Ryon that she and her husband had bought another house because they needed more room for their three kids.
Now, in a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the significant price reduction. Built in 1941, the house that Vidal is selling has three baths, custom built-ins, a breakfast bar, a detached guest house, a covered patio and a 40-foot-by-20-foot swimming pool, according to listing information.
As for Vidal's new house, we also can exclusively report that she paid $2,550,000 in October 2005 for a four-bedroom, 2,078-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Sherman Oaks area that was built in 1938 and that sits on more than a half-acre, according to public records.
