Actress Kirsten Dunst has placed her three-bedroom, 2,062-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills on the market for $1,700,000.

Our friends over at the Real Estalker broke the story on Tuesday of Dunst's listing of her house, which hit the MLS on Monday, May 25.

Dunst's house is being billed as a "celebrity retreat," according to listing information. Built in 1951, Dunst's house has two and a half baths and a living room with heated floors, a pitched ceiling and exposed beams, according to public records and listing information. Other features include an adjacent reading nook with a fireplace, a kitchen with Miele appliances, an office/den, a state-of-the-art security system, and an attached garage, according to listing information. The house was updated by Brian Murphy and designed by Hallworth Designs, according to listing information. Outdoor features on the gated, 0.20-acre (8,522-square-foot or 8,736-square-foot, depending on which public-records database one consults) property include lush landscaping, a large deck, and a grassy yard, according to public records and listing information.

Records show that Dunst paid $1,250,000 in late 2003 through a trust to purchase the house.

We have written before about Dunst, including our post on April 21, 2008, when we provided some details on Dunst's quiet, $3,000,000 purchase in August 2007 of a three-bedroom, co-op penthouse unit in Manhattan's SoHo area. Since 2001, she also has owned a 4,333-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Toluca Lake area, which her mother appears to occupy.she appears to have purchased for her mother.
