Actress Jill Marie Jones has placed her 3,550-square-foot, Mediterranean-style house in the Outpost Estates area of Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills -- a house that actor Jason Priestley once owned -- on the market for $1,999,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the "Girlfriends" actress' listing of the vintage house, which Priestley owned from 2002 -- when he purchased it through a trust for $995,000 -- until selling it to Jones in mid-2007 for $1,902,000. Jones' house came on the market on February 5.
Built in 1928, Jones' house has three bedrooms plus a maid's room, according to public records and listing information. Features include three and a half baths (one of which is a 1920s Deco-style bath and two of which are new vintage-style baths), a grand entry, walk-in closets, rustic timbers, plaster walls, wrought iron touches, surround sound and a new Tuscan-style kitchen with stainless steel appliances, wonderful tile and a wine cellar, according to listing information. The house sits on a walled and gated, 1.18-acre parcel, according to public records and listing information.
Priestley sold the house because he and wife Naomi Lowde purchased a 3,266-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Toluca Lake area for an undisclosed price in March 2007, according to public records.
As for Jones, she sold her previous residence -- a 2,261-square-foot, one-story house at 3500 Royal Woods Drive in Los Angeles' Sherman Oaks area -- in mid-2007 for $1,060,000, almost four years after purchasing it for $1,110,000, according to public records. That house backs up to Interstate 405/the San Diego Freeway.
