Actress Beverly D'Angelo's longtime 4,045-square-foot Spanish-style house in the Beverly Hills, Calif. postal region -- known as the BH PO -- is on the market for $2,185,000.
We know that we are very late to the party in writing about this listing, but we thought we'd do so anyhow. Our friends over at the Real Estalker wrote a nice post back on December 10 about the fact that D'Angelo's five-bedroom house had been on the market earlier in 2008 for $2,569,800. Then, after the very, very empty house (no staging here!) returned to the market with its current $2,185,000 asking price on the unusual date of December 16 (unusual because few people actually put new listings on the market within a week and a half of Christmas), the Los Angeles Times' Ann Brenoff wrote a blog post on December 17 about D'Angelo re-listing the house, followed by Brenoff placing the same item in her print column the following month.

Built in 1929, D'Angelo's house is available because the actress paid $3,800,000 in December 2007 to purchase Dan Aykroyd's forever-for-sale, 4,828-square-foot, New England-style house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills, as we exclusively reported on February 17, 2008. Features in the house that D'Angelo is selling, which is on Coldwater Canyon Drive near Heather Road, include four and a half baths, a two-story entry foyer, arched doorways, hardwood floors, a formal dining room, and a step-down grand living room with a fireplace and beamed ceilings, according to listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.27-acre (11,970-square-foot) property include a detached two-car garage/studio/office, Spanish pavers, a courtyard, and a pool, according to public records and listing information.
In 2005, D'Angelo paid $2,350,000 to purchased the house that she now is selling, according to public records.
