Actress America Ferrera has placed her three-bedroom, 3,427-square-foot house in the Beachwood Canyon neighborhood of Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills on the market for $1,685,000.
We know we're a little late to the table on this one, but c'est la vie -- we've been busy with lots of other writing projects (like this one). And kudos to our friends over at the Real Estalker for breaking the story of Ferrera's listing of this house, back on January 14. "Ugly Betty" actually very quietly listed the house back on November 11.

We wrote about this house back on May 9, when we gave an account of Ferrera's early 2008 purchase of it through a trust for $1,415,000, according to public records.
Built in 1993, Ferrera's house has three and a half baths, an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, wiring for sound, a two-car garage, and a master bedroom with views, an adjacent office and a balcony, according to listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.15-acre (6,520-square-foot) property include a fiberglass heated pool and spa, according to public records and listing information. The house is on the same street as a house sold in January 2008 by actor Jesse Metcalfe.
The Real Estalker wondered the same thing in "her" post that we're wondering -- did Ferrera ever actually move into this recently renovated house? It's hard to see; if she ever did, she sure did clean it out, as the pictures reveal. In addition, the name of Ferrera's trust that appeared on the deed to this house has the word "Project" in it, suggesting that this may only have ever been an investment for America. Alternately, she may well have occupied it briefly but decided to get out of Dodge, what with "Betty's" production now having moved to the East Coast.
