Actress, author and comedian Amy Sedaris has paid $1,300,000 to purchase a one-bedroom co-op unit in Manhattan’s West Village.  The New York Observer’s Lysandra Ohrstrom broke the story yesterday of Sedaris’ purchase of the fourth-floor unit at 50 West 9th Street in the Village.  Indeed, public records show that Sedaris, 47, paid above the $1,250,000 asking price for the 900-square-foot unit, which has one bath, according to listing information. Features in the four-room unit include a dramatic entry hall, rooms with arched doorways and oversized windows, wood-burning fireplaces in the bedroom and the living room, a den with customer bookcases, and a windowed kitchen, according to listing information.
