Back on Tuesday, we wrote about Segel’s fellow castmate on his CBS sitcom, Josh Radnor, paying $1,100,000 for a 1,531-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills.

Now, in a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the recent purchase and sale by Segel, a 27-year-old L.A. native.

Built in 1940, the house that Segel bought on March 5 has four baths and sits on a 0.16-acre lot, according to public records. The property originally had been listed for $2,349,000, according to listing information, and is located just off Sunset Boulevard.

The condominium unit that Segel sold on May 7 is one that he purchased in June 1999, right as he was beginning his acting career, for $160,000, according to public records. Located in the 256-unit Colony condominium complex at 1440 Veteran Avenue in Los Angeles’ Westwood neighborhood, the 838-square-foot condo has one or two bedrooms, depending on which information source one consults. Features in the third-floor unit, which had been listed for $469,000, include an office with built-ins, wood floors, two plasma TVs, a “dramatic stairway,” and a quiet courtyard view, according to listing information.
