Actor Wilmer Valderrama has placed his five-bedroom, 4,822-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Tarzana neighborhood on the market for $2,250,000.
The Los Angeles Times' Ruth Ryon this morning first reported on Valderrama's listing, which was a fine scoop on her part. However, we should note that Valderrama has been something of a property mogul over the years, having owned no fewer than seven different properties in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. That's a pretty amazing feat for a 27-year-old!
Valderrama paid $1,250,000 in 2003 for the house at 5441 Calvin Avenue in Tarzana that he just listed, according to public records. Listing information for the Calvin Avenue house states that the house is vacant and "easy to show," although it also noted that there is a guest staying at the house.
Features in the house that Valderrama has listed include five baths, a tennis court, a pool, a pool house, a Jacuzzi, a gym, and a circular driveway, according to listing information, which also states that the house, which was built in 1974, "does need updating."
So where is Valderrama living now? We're pretty sure he resides in the 5,039-square-foot house at 18800 Wells Drive in the Tarzana neighborhood that he purchased in June 2005 from action-adventure star Chuck Norris for $3,525,000, according to public records.
Even so, just for fun, let's walk through the six other properties (besides the Calvin Avenue house that Valderrama just listed) that the actor has owned over the years in the San Fernando Valley:
--He paid $250,000 in 1998 for a three-bedroom, 2,732-square-foot house at 15545 Hart Street in Los Angeles' Van Nuys neighborhood, which he then sold in 2004 for $670,000, according to public records;
--Valderrama paid $750,000 in 2004 for a three-bedroom, 1,735-square-foot house at 3725 Lankershim Boulevard in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley, which he then sold in September 2006 for $875,000, according to public records;
--The actor paid $850,000 in mid-2004 for a five-bedroom, 2,453-square-foot house at 6215 White Oak Avenue in Los Angeles' Encino neighborhood, which he then sold in September 2006 for $955,000, according to public records;
--He paid $297,000 in early 2003 for a two-bedroom, 1,228-square-foot condominium unit in the building at 5455 Sylmar Avenue in Los Angeles' Sherman Oaks area, which the actor still owns to this day, according to public records;
--Valderrama paid $1,099,000 in early 2006 for a 3,777-square-foot house at 16207 Dickens Street in Los Angeles' Encino neighborhood that he still owns to this day, according to public records;
--Finally, the actor paid $3,525,000 in June 2005 for the 5,039-square-foot house at 18800 Wells Drive in Los Angeles' Tarzana neighborhood, which he owns to this day, according to public records.
