Actor Nicolas Cage has listed a 14,306-square-foot house that he owns in Las Vegas for $9,950,000.  The Wall Street Journal’s “Private Properties” column today wrote about Cage’s listing of the house, which is at 5100 Spanish Heights Drive in Las Vegas.  Back in February 2007, we exclusively had written about Cage’s purchase of the seven-bedroom house. Indeed, the actor paid $8,500,000 in 2006 to purchase the custom-designed mansion through his Hancock Park Real Estate Trust. Features in the house include eight baths, a commercial elevator to all three floors, a game room, a workout room, three fireplaces, Crema Marfil slab marble floors, a great room with surround sound, a gourmet kitchen with professional appliances and a 16-car garage, according to listing information. The mansion was built in 2003 and sits on a 0.36-acre lot that has views of the strip, according to public records and listing information. Cage at one time had owned another, smaller, 6,842-square-foot house nearby on the same street, which he had purchased in 2006 for $2,250,000, as we noted in February 2007. Cage quietly sold that nine-room house last year for $2,300,000.
