Actor Marlon Wayans has sold a 1,359-square-foot condominium unit in Los Angeles' Sherman Oaks area for $650,000, and he also is the latest celebrity buyer in the Broadway Hollywood building in Los Angeles' Hollywood area, paying an undisclosed amount -- but likely well above $1 million -- for a ninth-floor unit in the building.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the transactions by Wayans. First off, the purchase in the Broadway Hollywood building by Wayans closed on July 31 and was recorded on September 12. Wayans is the last one of the long list of celebrity buyers that we have identified as the inaugural loft owners in the recently converted, former department store building at 1645 N. Vine Street / 6310 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood. See our post on actor Jason Statham earlier this week for more details on the other buyers.

As for the condo in Sherman Oaks that Wayans sold, we can report that the unit had been listed for $699,000, according to listing information. Built in 1999 and located at 4360 Ventura Canyon Avenue in Sherman Oaks, the two-bedroom unit has three baths, according to listing information. Wayans had purchased that unit in 2000 for $242,000, according to public records.

Records show that Wayans owns two other Los Angeles-area properties: a 7,572-square-foot house on North Crescent Heights Boulevard in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills area that his Baby Boy Revocable Trust / Baby Boy Trust purchased in 2002 for an undisclosed price; and a newly built house on Cedros Avenue in Sherman Oaks that he purchased in the fall of 2006 for $1,525,000, according to public records.
