Actor Malcolm Gets has sold his three-bedroom house in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz area for $1,069,500. In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Gets’ sale of the house, which is at 3205 Lowry Road in Los Feliz. Records show that Gets quietly sold the house on February 4, with the deal being recorded on February 25. Back on November 11, we wrote about Gets’ listing of the house, which was on the market for $1,099,000. Built in 1926, Gets’ 1,725-square-foot, Spanish-style house has two baths, hardwood floors, a sunken living room with a fireplace and an atrium with original details, according to listing information. Other features include a separate garage, according to listing information. Predominantly a stage actor who also appeared on the late 1990s NBC sitcom “Caroline in the City,” Gets had purchased the house in 2000 for just $550,000, according to public records. Check out the still-active property website for the house here. It’s unclear who the buyer is. Records show that a trust called the Lowry Road Trust purchased the house. Based on a cursory look at the deed, it does not appear, however, that a celebrity is behind the Lowry Road Trust (although we’re open to other interpretations as well!). Back in November, the Los Angeles Times had reported that Gets was selling because he’s planning to buy a bigger property in New York, where he reportedly already owns property (we’re still looking for what he owns in NYC, however).
