Here we go again. Actor Kelsey Grammer has placed his seven-bedroom, 10,567-square-foot Country English-style mansion in Los Angeles' Holmby Hills area back on the market for $19,900,000 -- just a little over a year after purchasing it for $13,700,000. As they so often do, our friends over at the Real Estalker broke the story yesterday. Sadly, however, it's becoming clear that every time Grammer (shown here with wife Camille) purchases an expensive residence somewhere, a celebrity gossip like us or the Real Estalker or the Los Angeles Times' Ann Brenoff could easily pre-write an article for the day just a few months or a year later that 'Frasier' inevitably places that property back on the market! As Your Mama over at the Real Estalker noted, renovating and flipping high-end real estate has been a very profitable endeavor indeed for Kelsey, and it's one that's clearly bound to continue. Up to now, at least, Grammer's lone untouchable property, we suspect, is his principal residence, which is a 6,645-square-foot mansion on 4.5 acres at 3250 Serra Road in Malibu, Calif. Back to Holmby Hills. In May 2007, Grammer's Fossil II Trust paid $13,700,000 to buy the mansion, which is at 261 Baroda Drive in Holmby Hills, from Michael Armand Hammer, business tycoon, according to public records. We wrote about Grammer's purchase of the mansion back in July 2007 and again in August 2007. Now, Grammer's looking to flip the Holmby Hills mansion for a pretty penny. Built in 1980 for composer Henry Mancini and situated on a 0.82-acre parcel, the mansion is behind gates and has been recently rehabbed by Grammer, according to public records and listing information. Features in the mansion include a dramatic living room, a media room, a kitchen that opens to the family room, a and gym, according to listing information. Outdoor features include a pool, a motor court, and a walled, grassy yard, according to listing information. Grammer placed the Holmby Hills mansion on the market on Monday. As we also have done in the past, the Real Estalker did an outstanding job of tallying up Grammer's known properties. There hasn't been a ton of other recent movement involving his real estate -- apart from the fact that he placed his estate at 7 Morgan Way or 7 Morgan Hill Way in Bridgehampton, N.Y. on the market last year for $16,100,000, and then in April was reported to have taken it off the market.
