Actor Josh Radnor, who plays Ted Mosby on the CBS sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother,' has paid $1,100,000 for a two-bedroom, Spanish hacienda-style house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills.


In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the 32-year-old Radnor's purchase of the 1,531-square-foot house which is the first Los Angeles-area house that he has owned.

Built in 1926, Radnor's new house is in the Vine Hills area of the Hollywood Hills. Features in the house include a gated entrance, a formal entry, a step-down living room with high beamed ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, arched French doors that access a lush private courtyard patio garden with a Koi pond, a rock waterfall fountain, and spacious wood decks, according to listing information. Other features include walls of French windows in the dining room, a handcrafted tile kitchen, a den with a fireplace, an adjoining office, a master suite with a tile bath, wrought iron light fixtures, vintage tile baths, natural wood doors, and Brazilian mahogany wood floors throughout, according to listing information.

Radnor closed on the house on April 26, but the sale wasn't recorded until June 5, according to public records. He paid above the $1,050,000 list price for the house, according to listing information.
